The Islands

The Isle of Palms, with its seven miles of wide, pristine beach is a wonderfully attractive place to call home.  It is a completely self-contained city, incorporated in 1953, which has its own Public Works Department that manages the operation of the community's public utilities.  Police, fire, building, and recreation departments round out the city's municipal services.  The Isle of Palms is home to the famous Wild Dunes Resort which boasts not only year round homes and fabulous vacation rentals, but also has two magnificent 18-hole championship golf courses designed by Tom Fazio.

To the south of the Isle of Palms lies Sullivan's Island.  This attractive sea island community, featuring a working lighthouse, comprises a variety of homes.  Its uncrowded, clean beaches, award-winning elementary school, unique historic feel, and emphasis on family and community, make Sullivan's Island an ideal place for one to call home.

Kiawah Island's ten miles of sun-splashed beaches and lush island foliage, is home to four world class golf courses, along with outstanding tennis facilities which are ranked by "Tennis" Magazine as third among the 50 greatest U.S. tennis resorts.  For those who enjoy the nearness of the sea, Kiawah offers a timeless relationship that enriches and restored the soul.

Adjacent to Kiawah, lies its sister island, Seabrook, a secluded haven for residents and guests, where spacious homes nestle among moss-draped live oaks by the sea, marsh or fairways.  Seabrook is a private island far from the outside world where its white beaches await the prospective resident.  For the golfer, there are two 18-hole golf courses.  Seabrook is also noted for its Equestrian Center and 13 Har-Tru courts at the Tennis Center.  Bike riding, rollerblading, fishing, or crabbing at the Seabrook crab dock also awaits your pleasure.
